Halal and Kosher Options on Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean's published kosher and halal arrangements are different. Kosher meals are available on advance request at no meal charge under its general dietary FAQ. Its halal FAQ describes beef steak or chicken, not complete meals, only on departures from Dubai and Singapore, served in the main dining room.

Request halal meat 90 days ahead

The Australian halal FAQ links a Special Needs form and gives a 90 day deadline. That policy does not establish halal provision on departures elsewhere or at buffets and specialty restaurants. Ask for written confirmation before relying on any additional arrangement.

Kosher deadlines contain a regional inconsistency

The general dietary FAQ asks for 45 days notice, extended to 90 days for Europe and South America in one paragraph. Its paragraph about late requests instead names Europe and Asia. Use 90 days for any of those regions and ask Royal to confirm the deadline for your voyage. Passover requests require 90 days.

For kosher requests, the FAQ gives several routes: your travel adviser, the online reservation's personal information section, or the special needs email address shown on its website. Include guest names, booking number, ship and sailing date. The halal page specifically points to its form; do not assume the two programs have identical instructions.

Ask what your confirmation covers

The reviewed public guidance does not establish the exact current supplier, certification standard or heating procedure for your voyage. Ask to see the meal label and discuss utensils and service if your observance requires it. Older documents and another passenger's photographs cannot establish today's supplier.

Reconfirm the practical arrangement

Speak with the head waiter or restaurant manager before the first meal. Confirm that the request reached the ship, agree on any preordering and ask how the correct meal will be identified. Reconfirm for new dishes or venues.
