Military, Senior, and State Resident Cruise Discounts

Military, senior and resident cruise offers exist, but the benefit and eligibility depend on the line and sailing. They can be fare reductions or onboard credit. Some combine with other promotions; check the rules of both offers.

Military benefits differ

Norwegian's Military Appreciation Program advertises a 10 percent cruise fare discount after verification, combinable with current promotions subject to terms. Princess offers eligible military guests onboard credit and expressly allows combination with other onboard credit offers.

Those are different benefits with different eligibility rules. Check who qualifies, which verification service or documents are required, and when approval must be completed. A document accepted by one line need not satisfy another.

Senior and resident rates

Royal Caribbean publishes senior pricing for selected sailings for guests aged 55 or older. That does not create a discount on every departure or establish another line's age rule. Confirm how many guests must qualify and what proof is required.

Resident offers can apply to selected states or regions and dates. Enter your actual residence when searching and check the offer's accepted evidence. Residence is an eligibility condition, not a rate you can select simply because it looks cheaper.

Ask the line or agent to check eligible rates against the current public promotion. Some search tools expose those choices online; a missing checkbox does not prove either availability or unavailability.
